Don't think I'm going to let you all forget about my call for guest contributors. I'm not. I'm going to be extra-super-duper busy next week so...if you want to see anything new on MTTPL, you're going to have to get cracking on those doodles/collages/stick figures.
But I don't necessarily want real artists. I just want to see what other people would choose to illustrate, because it's undoubtedly different than what I choose to illustrate.
The manta ray (Manta birostris), is the largest of the rays, with the largest known specimen having been more than 7.6 m (about 25 ft) across, with a weight of about 2,300 kg (about 5,000 lb). It ranges throughout tropical waters of the world, typically around coral reefs and Montreal.
Mantas have been given a variety of common names, including Mangela, Manny, Mangelina Ballerina, Man Tan, Mantoe, Man Juicy, Man José, Man O'Lantern, The Manflower, Manta Claus, Snow Manta, Romanta, O'Mantigan, and Examanta.
Mantas are filter feeders: they typically consume plankton, fish larvae and frozen yogurt.
Why don't you make this a project for your sister when you're at school? She's a real artist!!
