Guacamoles

I started drawing this one a while ago (since it was based on an actual conversation preceding the Werewolf Bar Mitzvah for which these cupcakes were made and at which this movie was watched), then forgot about it. Yeah, this totally happened. And the best part is that I didn't even realize I'd said anything wrong until Katie kindly drew my attention to it.

  1. Kindly drawing attention to people's mistakes is a public service and should be treated as such.

I don't want Manta to get away with giving everyone the impression that she made this gaff once- oh no, she referred to avocados as guacamoles multiple times.

Why am I the only one commenting? Manta is like a schoolgirl in springtime when she gets comments. They make her so happy, so you guys should get on it!

  2. I would also like to draw everyone's attention to the fact that this is the second post tagged with avocados. One wouldn't expect that to come up once, let alone twice. 1175 is a weird place.

  3. I would like to kindly draw your attention to the fact that "gaffe" is in fact spelt with an e

  4. Woah, it's going to be a throw-down on the MTTPL comments section. 1175 is AWESOME. BURNING THINGS IN THE KITCHEN!

"I'm like a schoolgirl in springtime. I want it like I want Fernando's..."

  5. Damn it. The internet should have caught my error. However, I spell things correctly most of the time so you have no right to judge me.

And I wouldn't really consider this to be a throw-down, since I am clearly the biggest fan as I comment ten times more than everyone else combined. Making this your most visited web page means nothing. Actions speak louder than sitting in your room clicking back on Manta's web comic.

  6. A gaff is a type of pole used in fishing, so the internet couldn't catch your one in a million spelling mistake. I think my kiss-ass comment on Manta's wall about her blog speaks for itself, and I've never accused her of giving me mannish arms. I am well aware that I have no right to judge you, I'll try not to let it happen again.

  7. You had better not! And maybe I meant to talk about a fishing pole. "Manta made this fishing pole more than once." Makes sense to me. Jerk.

Maybe you're just mad because my arms are manlier than yours.

  8. I love you guys. And I love comments. And I did make that fishing pole more than once!

  9. Also, I think it's odd that no one commented on the fact that I look terrified of the *guacamole* in Panel 1.

  10. Probably because you're concerned that it might be too hard and that you'll have to taste it.

  13. I have some suggestions for your blog: more avocados/guacamoles, bunnies, candy corn, Herp humour, passive-aggressive notes, verbal missteps, and whales. Less Katie (unless she is cute & nice, like in the 'Bucks/Cathy comic)
